I might just come back here. But I am concerned. I've been hanging out on Y!Gallery for a long time now, and enjoying it immensely XD Surrounded by yummy boys and delicious, talented artists, and a minimum of irritating underage idjits . . . it's great.
I do miss DA, in a way. I miss the friends I used to have on here. But I want to make sure that my art is safe here. I've heard of some curious and disturbing instances where people's art has been stolen, and the administration did little or nothing to help.
If anyone knows anything about this, or can assure me that the site is safe and secure for original art (IE: I won't have to worry about getting stolen by greedy corporations or individuals, or at least will get support against them) Then I may return and post here again.
The difference may be startling, though . . . just warning.
(on another note, I'll try and get over the masses of one-word commenters, drive-by favvers, spouting fantards, and all the rest. I'm not as grumpy as I used to be)

But I say if you miss teh dA, scuttle on back. ^^ If you're worried about the theft, stick a watermark on it. I for one can look past watermarks, and I'm sure tons more people on dA (and yGallery) will understand why they're there. It's your art, though, so do as you will. :3

It gives always people who doesnt give a pice of shit about ownership of others works, and yours are someof the best I know so...
if you know how bad I draw, then you should know that mine are nothing to steal...or so I thought before I was in hospital and my cousin told me she found one of my pics on someone others side...marked as the persons creation...low, isnt it?
Sure it got removed after she told the parents and the server but some just never learn and will try it again.
Watermark them as yours, thats the only lektion I have learned out of this stupid lession.
I mean, I am nothing near to your wonderful pics1 And the stupid point is, I had it only posted here, and nowhere else, but I think, DA is more safe lately as before. They tend to look after their artists more lately, at least the subscribet one I mean(is just Member) Anyway, I think if you mark it with a watermark then it is safer as the most. But you will never get rid of the stealers as long it is to see on the internet, sadly as this is...
