Hello again. I doubt that many people still read this junk. It seems sort of depressing as of late. However, I would like to bring you yet another piece of the ongoing saga of art theft.

I just LOVe it. Ohhh, I think we all know who's going to win this one. Oh? It isn't Gof?

MY MY WHY IS THIS!! *GASP* oh my god, the challenger has a TRUMP CARD!!! He's gone Yu-gi-oh and pulled out "CRAPPY MOD" card!

When art thieves play this card, the outcome becomes instantly obvious. Nobody can withstand the power of the Crappy Mod. No one is safe, not even the victim. There is no denying and no reasoning. Nobody can even beg their way out, not even with proof. The best part is, even an amalgamation of angry users does NOTHING. The MODS HAVE THE ULTIMATE POWAAAH.

Because, my friends. This is not a professional website. This is Deviantart, so deviant that even the mods are bought and paid for.

If DA didn't hoard our art on their server for an indeterminable amount of time EVEN ONCE IT WAS DELETED, I would delete my entire fucking gallery and move ship. Honestly. Consider my presence a ghost presence.

I am tired of the administration quietly raping people behind their backs.

I am sick of myself and my friends being ignored, or punished, for demanding respect.

I'm sick of this place, and as soon as I can, I am replacing every image in my gallery with a stupid sketch, and then DELETING THEM ALL.

The friendship of people who have stuck with me is valuable, and so I will continue to haunt this place, if only to keep an eye on the fuckers who steal MY goddamn art, too.

But no more art. Not ever again. Not even if this issue with Gof is resolved.

(sidenote: If there are any mods who have a problem with this, and would like to censor me, go right a-fucking-head. BAN ME, but not before I edit all my goddamn gallery and pry my art from your grubby fingers)

There is an immense amount of mod stupidity around.
My eyes have been opened thanks to a certain LJ community.

Basically, thanks to elitist mods who care only for how much money you pump into this place, it is the art thieves who are protected and the real victims will be banned or penalized for acting out.

Anyone who's vocalised on this has been banned. It's turning into 1984 or something.

I'm considering jumping ship myself, and I hope to take as many people off this sinking wreck as I can.

;___; I definitely understand how you feel. If a picture is a copy paste or a digital mod of someone's art they do something if you can prove it...but if its traced they just say "this isnt traced" and dont delete it. I've had this problem while reporting thieves several times in the past. I suppose I can kind of see how a redraw could stay posted should they give credit, but a complete trace is just ridiculous. I'll be missing you very much *again* and hope that there will be other places I can possibly see your art if only it be something as simple *or difficult however you may look at it* as emailing them to me?

I have seen way to much of this. I still find it odd that DA would actually allow tracing of other artist's works and then justify it. They know these issues are what drive they really superb artists away but mods desire for money seems to outway all the problems. It's sad how much this places gone down hill from when I first joined. Whats even worse all the people who are trying to defend their art (or in some cases others art) are getting banned for speaking out. They keep insisting that you report thieves yet when you do they do nothing. When you try and handel it yourself, instant banned. It just seems like no matter how many artist protest they stupid rules it all falls on deaf ears :(

I'm sorry you have to leave because of all of these situations though I completely understand why. I really enjoyed looking at your work. I hope someway I will get to see more of it. (:

You're welcome. And if you ever intend to delete anything, for any purpose (hopefully not for the same purposes as I am deleting) then make sure to put in a ghost image, otherwise DA retains the rights to use your art however they see fit, and they don't even have to delete them if they choose not to. They merely break the link to the image and call that "deleted"

When in fact, if you knew the actual location of the jpg file, you can still access it directly. DA admins lie and their TOS covers their asses and is complicated enough to confuse people not familiar with law.

I feel crappy now that I have deleted some stuff a while ago.....Before I knew about that. >_< ooooh.....

But I am getting through my stuff. I am keeping my fanart up cause DA....no matter how much they can kick and scream DA will never have proper liscene for it. :) Nintendo can kick their arses.

[link] As you can see I am doing it slowly....BUT I found that I cannot change my SWF files ;__;.....So DA owns them and I cant do shit!!
