This is my catch all License journal. I really am impressed that DA is providing this option for artwork, and although I am suspicious of new things, and am going over the fine print with every ounce of Law knowledge I learned in school, For now, I'll be tentatively licensing my work, as things seem quite sound.

This is what anyone interested in using my art for ANY PURPOSE has to know. As of November, 15, 2006 these are the rules.

1. All of my work will be licensed under Attribution - Noncommercial - No Derivatives (unless its fanart)

2. This means that the ONLY way you can use my art is to keep it absolutely intact, with my signature and other watermarks, put my name in whatever description accompanies the use, AND PROVIDE A LINK BACK TO ME.

3. USERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COPY, TRACE, OR ALTER MY IMAGES IN ANY WAY. No derivative work means no copying poses or designs, or any piece of the art. This means no making a painting of Iro for your high school art class, for instance. No cropping, censoring, or color altering. Nothing. YOU CANNOT SELL IT, OR EXCHANGE IT ONLINE, as this falls within commercial use. Linking to it is alright, but transferring it via any p2p program, whether its aim/MSN , limewire, kazaa, whatever, IS NOT.

4. I am also including one other stipulation, which I am allowed to do, to bind any users of my art further. This is the last condition. YOU MUST OBEY THIS, or I can sue.

-I will allow others to repost my work, ONLY if they first contact me for permission. And then fulfill the other requirements of crediting, linking, and keeping the image fully intact. And I have the right to refuse. If I refuse, you cannot post it.

Basically, what you CAN do with my art is as follows:

You can keep it on your harddrive (you don't need permission).

You can LINK to it (not post the image) here or my personal pages in a public fora, or on your website (no permission required, but a notification would be nice if you want me to link back. I like to know who's plugging me)

You can print it from your printer and look at it, or put it on your wall, as long as it is intact completely, and is never exchanged for money, or included in any photograph, video, etc. As that classifies as derivative work, which is not ok.

Does everyone understand? These are the rules. I have made them and if need be, I will alter them to be even more strict. This journal also vicariously applies outside the realm of Creative Commons to stealing my intellectual material, such as character concepts.

I do not want to see people taking my characters, drawing them, and calling them their own. Drawing me fanart is perfectly alright, so long as the credit is there. In fact, I will hug you and kiss your feet.

Violating this may result in serious legal action, and nobody wants that, right?
