Sometimes, I have these moments when I wonder why people are such assholes to strangers they don't even know. In the workplace, in the market, walking down the street.

Then I realize and it's all done out of pure selfishness, and by taking a stance that lets one view the big picture, anyone can see that it's absolutely hilarious.

Here's an example particular to me:

Some guy goes to a fast food restaurant and receives his fries a little on the cool side because there were seven people in front of him and his food has been bagged for a minute more than usual. He rages at the cashier.

Stop and think. Does that man consider that the cashier he just spat in the face of just had a miscarriage, or perhaps just lost her boyfriend, or mother, had her car stolen? Do you think he cares if the person who bagged his fries just got called a nigger by someone in drivethrough and is upset by it? Maybe the entire staff just got a paycut, or lost a staff member they cared about.

No.

That guy only cares that his personal dining experience wasn't perfectly satisfactory. He cared so much and so violently, that he had to impact someone else's life in a negative way.

When they said way back that the sun revolved around the earth, they were already well on their way to this state of existence. Who is our Galileo now?

Sorry, was just framing a metaphor for someone in particular. You know who you are.

I just spent over 200 dollars on con tickets, cosplay supplies and other KH-related stuff. In a week. God. And that's not even a fraction of the supplies I need still (Still need pleather, gloves, boots and wig/dye)

What the hell. I remember a time when I was adamantly against fanart and never drew it.

Sorry, this was random, but I had an epiphany type thing and I had to express my awe somehow.

It's taken me a long time to decide this >_> but I have decided that it would be childish to just take off. However, I will be maintaining this account only for entertainment purposes. In other words, I'm doing it for everyone who reads/views/likes my work. I have been given so many kind comments and I appreciate it very much. At this point, after reviewing a lot of what has been said . .. I can say one thing.

I have received so much more kindness than I have idiocy. XD

Thank you, everyone. I'm coming back, and I promise I won't be a D.Q this time. I've considered this art theft thing and come to the conclusion that hey, what does it really matter anyway! It's going to happen, and nobody can stop it. It's only harming those who do it because they're lying to their own watchers and stunting their own growth. Why should I care if people want to be self destructive little attention whores. Mind that I'd still like to be informed if you catch someone ninjaing my art. You guys are cool for that.

So hey, Okori is back!

I've wiped my entire gallery and I'm starting over. So if I have drawn a gift for you at one point and you find it has disappeared without you saving it, I can email it to you. Just let me know. I'll be posting fanart more than original art. I'm still concerned about my intellectual property versus DA's TOS, but we'll see what happens.

I will be posting my writing, and Royale will remain here for anyone who followed that, although I'm not sure if I will be continuing it (probably not, sorry). I'm rewriting the twins story, for real, in canon. That should be interesting . . .

Considering the amount of time that has passed . . . . I hope I can surprise you. Thanks again to everyone who was good to me. to all. Please forgive me for all the uncertainty and confusion.

I just LOVe it. Ohhh, I think we all know who's going to win this one. Oh? It isn't Gof?

MY MY WHY IS THIS!! *GASP* oh my god, the challenger has a TRUMP CARD!!! He's gone Yu-gi-oh and pulled out "CRAPPY MOD" card!

When art thieves play this card, the outcome becomes instantly obvious. Nobody can withstand the power of the Crappy Mod. No one is safe, not even the victim. There is no denying and no reasoning. Nobody can even beg their way out, not even with proof. The best part is, even an amalgamation of angry users does NOTHING. The MODS HAVE THE ULTIMATE POWAAAH.

Because, my friends. This is not a professional website. This is Deviantart, so deviant that even the mods are bought and paid for.

If DA didn't hoard our art on their server for an indeterminable amount of time EVEN ONCE IT WAS DELETED, I would delete my entire fucking gallery and move ship. Honestly. Consider my presence a ghost presence.

I am tired of the administration quietly raping people behind their backs.

I am sick of myself and my friends being ignored, or punished, for demanding respect.

I'm sick of this place, and as soon as I can, I am replacing every image in my gallery with a stupid sketch, and then DELETING THEM ALL.

The friendship of people who have stuck with me is valuable, and so I will continue to haunt this place, if only to keep an eye on the fuckers who steal MY goddamn art, too.

But no more art. Not ever again. Not even if this issue with Gof is resolved.

(sidenote: If there are any mods who have a problem with this, and would like to censor me, go right a-fucking-head. BAN ME, but not before I edit all my goddamn gallery and pry my art from your grubby fingers)

Ok so, I had an epiphany this evening. Here I was talking to Moose, and she was like, "damn Kori, the mods on here can be real dicks"

And I was like " Hell yeah, gurl. You know it. "

Naturally I'd like to believe there are good and fair mods, too, but it seems that most of the stereotyping against DA and its admin collective is deserved.

So APPARENTLY, the word is around here, that you have to stuff your gallery full of T&A and rippling hairy beefcake to be a valid contributing member to DA. Yup, nothing but totally unthreatening HETERO masculine guys with big muscle cars, and women with enormous jugs and vaginas gaping from the middle of their purty faces (preferably bisexual.)

Oh, and another thing, apparently, people can say and do whatever they want to you, and not only are you incapable of defending yourself without risking punishment, decisions are left up to the fickle conscience of questionably intelligent/ambivalent mods.

Fuck man. I have been going SO wrong with this DA stuff. I mean . . . . I've been drawing "faggy" anime shit all this time when I could be supporting irrelevant gender stereotypes.

So from now on, its all TITS AND TRUNK for you. Sorry, but its only legal to be deviant on deviantart so long as you function within the unwritten rules of N.American social expectation.
